Sharon has been a superb supporter of the charity since 2002, when she joined Jan (my wife) as a spectator for the London Marathon which I was taking part in.

Sharon and Jan enjoyed the atmosphere so much that they both decided to take part in the 2003 London Marathon. This meant I got to meet Sharon on a fairly regular basis, as we started to train and enter events together.

Sharon decided to run the for the British heart Foundation and my Charity, 2003 London Marathon came and went but by then Sharon had the running bug. She still trains with me twice a week every week, has run Athens, Snowdonia, Sidney and London Marathon with me, as well as The London Triathlon and several half marathons. Sharon wears one of the charity T Shirts that promotes transplantation with pride and is very happy to chat to people about it while she is running. She has also raised quite a few bob for the charity which has enabled us to continue and grow.
