Valentines Day, they had a donor awareness theme and organised a raffle in each of their six restaurants to raise some money for our charity.
That generous donation from Outback & their customers was used to purchase
Dream Weaver Studio 8, that enable us to build this all new website
September 2006
Outback generously agreed to help our charity again by supply our Chairman -John Fisher with Outback branded running and training kit.
They also agreed to sponsor the costs of taking part in both the Venice Marathon & The Great Wall of China Marathon
These were both great opportunities to raise some very positive transplant awareness.
On top on that they also made a donation to the charity to help with the day to day running costs of the charity.
Some of that money was used to produce some donor & transplant awareness Christmas Cards that were sent out December 2006. We also used some of that donation to purchase a mail Franking machine with a donor awareness imprint.
June 2006
Outback lent the charity a six seater cycle to use for the London to Brighton bike ride.
We received some fantastic local press coverage due to this crazy bike - six seats and only two wheels.
The six man cycle team deserve medals for being brave enough to ride it.
September 2005
Our Chairman - John Fisher approached Outback and asked if they would help with the costs of taking part in the Sydney Marathon. After a very informal chat over a cup of coffee Outback agreed to cover the costs of the flight, they also arranged a superb meal at their Sydney restaurant after the marathon to celebrate.
This event was another great opportunity to raise some positive transplant & donor awareness. It coincided with John's 5th year post transplant and the media coverage was superb.
