22nd March 2008 As usual each runner will be funding themselves, so every penny raised will go directly to the charity. Cape Town is where the world's first heart was preformed by Our aim is to raise some much needed funding for the charity as well as raise positive transplant and donor awareness. Every year our supporters raise money for us in a host of different ways - from walks to marathons, charity dinners to race nights. Our supporters also take part in daring challenges, from parachute jumps to cross country skiing and mountain climbs. It does not matter how big or small your event is - every penny counts.
