Our Chairman’s daughter Charlie was a pupil at Ashford C of E (ACE), he approached the headmaster and asked if he would be willing to have a mufty day in aid of our charity.
We were looking for some extra funding in-order to purchase a projector and screen for our talks, the British Heart Foundation had already agreed to part fund this project so we needed to make up the difference.

The mufty day was a great success, and we managed to raise enough funds to purchase the screen and projector, which has proven to be a great success at our talks.

Our Chairman was presented the cheque during a morning assembly, where he got to speak to the pupils. He talked about the London Marathon which was approaching, his donor who died in a car accident after not wearing a seat belt, hoping to encourage the pupils to ensure that they always wear one.
